Which Colours Can You Choose For a Diamond Grill Security Door?

Posted on: 28 June 2019

If you've decided to install a diamond grill security door, then you'll have done your research on the door's security advantages. You'll have worked out that this is the best kind of door for your needs and budget.

What you may not yet know, however, is that these doors also come in different colours. If your supplier offers a full colour range, then you can choose the colour of the door you install more exactly than you might have thought. What are your options?

Standard Diamond Grill Security Door Colours

Some people are happy to use a standard colour when they buy a diamond grill door. So, for example, if you aren't that bothered about the door standing out on your home, you could just have a black or white one installed. After all, if the door looks obvious from a distance, then it may deter someone from trying to break into your home. A standout colour can make the door look like a warning to intruders.

If you prefer, you can pick a standard colour for the door that more closely matches the colour scheme of your main door or your home. For example, if you have a grey front door, then you may want to pick a screen in a grey shade that matches or complements the door itself. This will make the screen look less obvious.

Custom Diamond Grill Security Door Colours

Some people like to use a security door to protect their home more effectively; however, they don't much like the look of the screen at the front of their house. If you would prefer to make the screen door almost invisible, then you may be able to get a custom colour that matches your front door more exactly.

If you can do this, then the screen door blends in. From a distance, it may not be obvious that the door is there. Even as you approach your home, the door won't stand out like a sore thumb. Bear in mind, however, that custom colours tend to match the colour palette of regular external paints. If you created a special colour mix for your front door in the first place, you may not get an exact match on your security screen.
